Location

Southwind at Sarsons is nestled in the heart of the Lower Mission. A short stroll from the lake and the beautiful Sarsons Beach, close to bicycling and walking routes, shops and neighbourhood bistros, Southwind at Sarsons finds balance with Life and Style.

Our story is a rich part of our history and the settlement of The Lower Mission. Southwind at Sarsons is built upon land settled in 1912 by the Sarsons family. They ran a dairy farm and tree fruit orchard. The spectacular sculpture “Southwind” which will grace the entrance to the Private Owners’ Club and is the inspiration for our name, was created by Bob Dow Reid who once lived on this same property with his family and went on to international acclaim for his work. Other monumental work of his, “The Sails” and the “Rhapsody” are on prominent display in downtown Kelowna.
